    Job Description

     

    Uses demonstrated knowledge in areas of technical expertise to design, build, test, and maintain Windows based middleware solutions that meet business requirements.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    ·         Understands impacts of infrastructure on business operations

    ·         Designs, builds, tests, and maintains middleware solutions

    ·         Ensures that infrastructure systems are designed, implemented, and supported to meet CCC's internal and external standards and service level requirements

    ·         Solves problems related to installation, implementation, maintenance, and operations of middleware and related infrastructure components

    ·         Provides advice and counsel to product development and IT Operations’ teams

    ·         Champions upgrades to existing and new environments following CCC processes and procedures.

    ·         Documents system and monitoring designs and related processes

    ·         Performs work under the guidance of senior staff

    ·         Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

    ·         Assumes total responsibility for work assigned and delivers on commitments

    Qualifications and Experience

     

    ·         Education: Master's degree or equivalent experience

    ·         Experience: 5+ years of information systems experience in a large enterprise systems environment supporting mission-critical systems and applications.

    ·         Qualifications: A high degree of demonstrated technical excellence in his/her technical specialty. Excellent problem solving skills across multiple disciplines.

     

    Technical Qualifications:

    ·         Demonstrated experience in MS Visual Studio 2003/2006 and eCommerce applications

    ·         Demonstrated experience in Biztalk 2004/2006

    ·         Experience upgrading Biztalk a plus

    ·         Experience with WSE 2.0

    ·         Familiarity with VMWare

    ·         Working knowledge of Install Shield

    ·         Working knowledge of the Windows Registry

    ·         Working knowledge of source code control tools (TFS, Source Safe, Clearcase, etc.)
